NEW FIRE SAFETY LABORATORIES sight room SBI and radiating panel for floors                   The new structure of our laboratories The new Fire Safety laboratories with the most up-to-date plants, realised on purpose for the tests prescribed by EC marking of the products, in compliance with standard 89/106/CE.  The fire safety laboratory is equipped with the devices necessary for the classification of materials according to UNI EN 13501-1, for the EC certification of several products, for which has to be applied the safety requirement 2 of the standard. The new area of the laboratory is composed by the following equipment : - oven UNI EN ISO 1182 for the non-combustion test - calorimetric oxygene bomb UNI EN ISO 1716 - radiating panel for floors UNI EN ISO 9236 - Ignition chamber UNI EN ISO 11925-2 - chamber SBI UNI EN 13823 The devices for the classification of products, not included in the standard 89/106, subject to Italian approval in compliance with DM dated 26/06/1986 and 03/09/2001.                                                                                                     Thanks to these equipments Istituto Masini is confirmed as one of the best equipped laboratories at a Europen level and allows our Istituto to trustworthily face the future, focusing its commitment to the best service for the companies that must face the problems related to certification and assessment of the products on the international markets, with more and more complex rules.
